Here’s another great make-ahead cocktail for a larger party. Increase the quantities proportionately for the number of guests and combine in a pitcher without ice.  Cover and chill. Add ice and stir well just before serving.

The full, intense aromas lead you believe that the wine will be very powerful, but on the palate it is delicate, elegant and delicious with pear, peach, and pineapple flavours, great balance between sweetness and acidity, and a long, rich finish. Give this a few years and the layers and complexity will really start to show. Great with fruit based desserts and 60% chocolate.
