Wiener Schnitzel
Ingredients
1 1/2 lb veal cutlet
1 egg, slightly beaten
2 to 3 tsp water
3/4 cup seasoned dry bread crumbs
1/2 to 3/4 cup butter
Lemon slices
Method/Steps
1. Place egg and water in a bowl. Stir. Place breadcrumbs in another bowl. Pat veal cutlets dry with a paper towel.
2. Place cutlet first in egg mixture, then in breadcrumbs. Remove to a plate, and let stand at least 15 minutes.
3. Melt butter in a pan. When the butter is foamy, sauté cutlets over low heat 2 minutes per side until done. Garnish with lemon slices.

Serve with a glass of chilled German Riesling.
