Whisky Buttermilk Butterscotch Sauce
Ingredients
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup butter
2 Tbsp corn syrup
2 Tbsp Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whisky
Method/Steps
1. Combine sugar, buttermilk, and butter in a small saucepan. Cook, stirring constantly and simmer until the sugar has melted and the mixture is smooth.
2. Stir in the Jack Daniel’s Whisky.
3. Serve warm over your favourite cake. Cover any remaining sauce, and refrigerate to store.
