Tangy Pepper Steak
Ingredients
2 tsp green peppercorns, coarsely crushed
1 lb top sirloin steak, fat trimmed
2 Tbs olive oil
1 Tbsp each Dijon mustard and dry vermouth (or white wine)
1 baguette, cut into 1/2-inch thick slices
Salt
Method/Steps
1. Sprinkle peppercorns over both sides of steak. Grill steak until medium, 12 to 15 minutes.
2. Combine oil, mustard and vermouth in a small bowl.
3. Remove steak from grill; pour sauce over and around steak. Cut steak into thin slices. Place a few slices onto each slice of bread. Season with salt to taste.

Serve with Cabernet Sauvignon.
