Slow Grilled Tequila Chicken
Ingredients
8 chicken thighs
1 juice of one orange
1 juice of one lime
1 chipotle pepper in adobo sauce, chopped
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 tsp dried oregano
1/4 cup tequila
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt
Pepper
Method/Steps
Pour tequila mixture over the chicken thighs and marinate 6 - 8 hours or over night.
Heat the barbecue to low.
Place chicken thighs on the grill. Cook for 40 - 45 minutes.
In the last 10 minutes of cooking, brush them with the sauce.
