Sauerkraut
Ingredients
2 Tbsp butter
1/2 cup onion, sliced
1 litre prepared sauerkraut
1 potato, peeled and grated
Chicken stock, enough to cover
1/4 cup dry white wine
Method/Steps
1. Melt butter in a frying pan. Sauté onion until translucent. Add sauerkraut, and sauté for 5 minutes.
2. Add wine and reduce slightly. Add potato and stock. Cook, uncovered, for 30 minutes, or until liquid has evaporated and vegetables have cooked through.
