Roasted Garlic Pizza
Ingredients
3 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 lb pizza dough, store-bought or homemade
1/4 cup roasted garlic cloves
6 oz sliced bocconcini cheese
1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, cut into thin strips
5 thin slices of salami, cut into slivers
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
Method/Steps
1. Drizzle 1 Tbsp of the oil over each of 2 baking pans, 10 x 15 inches each. Cut dough into 4 equal pieces. Put 2 pieces on each pan and shape into 6-inch rounds. Brush dough with remaining oil Let rise in a warm place until puffy, about 30 minutes.
2. Evenly distribute equal portions of roasted garlic over the dough. Lay bocconcini evenly over each round. Sprinkle evenly with basil, salami and parmesan.
3. Bake in a 450°F oven until crust is golden brown, 10-14 minutes. Alternate pan positions halfway through baking.
