Pear Brandy
If the jar's seal is rubber, cover the glass top with plastic wrap to protect the seal from the alcohol which can eventually soften the rubber.
Ingredients
1 ripe pear
3 cups brandy
Method/Steps
1. Rinse pear, dry and place in a wide-mouth decorative glass jar (large enough to hold 1 litre).
2. Pour enough brandy into the jar to completely cover the pear. Seal until airtight. Store at least 1 week or up to 1 year at room temperature.
