Hoisin Beef with Sweet Peppers and Sugar Snap Peas
Ingredients
¾ cup Knorr Beef Bouillon
¼ cup hoisin sauce
1 Tbsp cornstarch
2 tsp dark sesame oil
2 Tbsp ginger, minced
3 garlic cloves, minced
pinch cayenne
4 tsp vegetable oil
¾ lb top sirloin beef, cut into finger-size strips
1 each: red and yellow pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
3 green onions, cut into 1-inch pieces
¼ lb sugar snap or snow peas, trimmed
Method/Steps
1. Stir bouillon with hoisin, cornstarch, sesame oil, ginger, garlic and cayenne until cornstarch is dissolved.
2. Heat half the oil in a large wide saucepan or wok over medium-high.
3. Add half the beef, stir-fry until no longer pink then remove to a bowl.
4. Stir-fry remaining beef, then remove to bowl. Heat remaining oil over medium-high, stir-fry peppers and green onions 1 minute.
5. Add sugar snap peas and stir-fry 2 minutes.
6. Return beef to pan then bouillon mixture.
7. Stir continuously until thickened, about 1 minute.
8. Serve over rice.
