De-Constructed Salad with Balsamic Dip

1 head of romaine lettuce, separate larger leaves and reserve for another use

1 large ripe tomato

Cucumber slices

Balsamic Dip

1/2 cup olive oil

1/4 cup balsamic vinegar

Salt, to taste

Method/Steps

1. Place smaller romaine leaves on a platter.

2. Slice tomato into wedges. Arrange on the platter alongside lettuce leaves.

3. Arrange cucumber slices on the platter alongside the other two vegetables.

Balsamic Dip

Stir together olive oil, balsamic vinegar and salt. Adjust any of the ingredients to suit your taste. Pour mixture into a small bowl and serve alongside vegetable platter.
