Brandied Orange Fondue

Ingredients

8 oz semisweet baking chocolate

1/3 cup freshly squeezed orange juice

4 Tbsp heavy cream

2 Tbsp brandy

1 tsp grated orange zest


Method/Steps

1. Break the chocolate into small pieces and place in the fondue pan with the orange juice. Heat slowly until the chocolate has melted, then stir until smooth.

2. Stir in the cream and heat gently.

3. Stir the brandy into the fondue with the grated orange zest. Heat, stirring, until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

4. Place over the lit burner and serve with profiteroles, ginger cookies, chocolate mints, pound cake and marshmallows.

Wine and Spirits Match

Serve with a glass of brandy or Port, and profiteroles, ginger cookies, chocolate mints, pound cake and marsmallows for dipping.
