Situated on a gently sloping hill, overlooking the Avon River Valley, Sainte- Famille Wines has one of the warmest vineyard sites in Nova Scotia resulting in rich full bodied reds such as their premium Old Vines Marechal Foch, produced from the oldest vines in Nova Scotia. Enjoy the friendly atmosphere of this boutique winery, while touring the winery and vineyard. Sample the wines while browsing in the gift store which offers Nova Scotia food products, wines, local crafts and unique wine and food baskets.

Terroir produces whites of exceptional character such as the 2004 L’Acadie Blanc which was chosen Best of Appellation.

I have been to SF a few times, once for their harvest festival and back then regularly to buy wines. Marechal Foch reserve is very nice but my favorite is the Baco Noir. They also produce an excellent port from time to time.
