Nestled among the foothills of the Sierra Madre Mountains, in the western edge of Cuyama Valley, Alere Vineyards produces rhone-varietals and a bit of zinfandel.  At an elevation of 2,400 feet, our vineyard flourishes in a climate very similiar to that of the southern Rhone Valley.

Lunenburg County Winery is nestled on a drumlin about 25 minutes inland from Mahone Bay and Lunenburg. This 100-acre farm displays row upon row of high bush blueberries and specializes in fruit wines, though it grows and makes several grape wines too.  Have a picnic, pick berries, and taste the wines.
