Take note, Loblaw Companies Limited has issued a voluntary recall warning the public not to consume in-store baked President's Choice(R) Decadent Chocolate Chunk Cookies with the UPC number 0 6038383903 8 because the product may contain small round, one millimetre in diameter, metal pieces.
The affected product is sold in the bakery department in packages containing eight cookies and weighing 352g. Apparently the recall doesn't include the similarly named cookies sold in the cookie aisle, but it certainly wouldn't hurt to check the UPC number on those, too. Staff have been working to remove all the affected products from store shelves across the country.
Even if you didn't buy these cookies at Loblaws, remember that the product is sold nationally at Loblaw corporate, franchise and affiliated independent stores.
