Is a quick cup of coffee your breakfast of choice? Or is it a necessity thanks to lack of time? Everyone's heard by now that breakfast is a very important part of the day. A healthy morning start will keep you going right until lunch time. But how is it possible to eat a nutrient rich meal when most of us barely have time to get ourselves looking great and out the door?

We've put together a few recipes that you can pull together very quickly on the weekend to have on hand throughout the week as an energy-packed breakfast on-the-go or an anytime snack. These bars are only slightly sweet and made with little to no added fat. Whole wheat, rolled oats, ginger, raisins and bananas give them the oomph you need to keep you going all day.
