Shrimp with Wasabi Mayonnaise Have you tried wasabi yet? Neither had I. Here’s an easy way to introduce it to your family as an appetizer.
2 cups shredded lettuce
1/2 pound shrimp, shelled, deveined and cooked
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 to 1 tsp wasabi paste
1-inch piece fresh ginger root, minced
2 scallions, minced
Mix mayonnaise, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, wasabi paste, ginger root and scallions.
Pile shredded lettuce on 4 plates. Arrange shrimp over lettuce. Top with a dollop of wasabi mayonnaise.
