Easy Steak Wraps Skip takeout and start making easy-breezy sandwiches at home. This steak wrap couldn’t be simpler and comes with way less attitude than the teenager rolling up your sub sandwich at the strip mall.
2 cups packaged coleslaw mix
1/4 cup carrots, julienned
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
2 tbsp minced fresh chives
2 tbsp rice vinegar
1/2 tsp sugar
dash of salt
2 tbsp canola oil
1/2 tsp sesame oil
12 oz sirloin steak
1/2 tsp five-spice powder
1 tbsp canola oil
4 flour tortillas, warmed in microwave
In a medium bowl, combine coleslaw mix, carrots, parsley and chives. Mix rice vinegar, sugar, salt and oils. Pour over coleslaw mixture.
Pat steak dry. Rub with five-spice powder. In a hot skillet, in 1 tbsp oil, sauté steak until done. Slice into strips.
Divide steak strips among each tortilla. Top with coleslaw mixture. Fold up tortilla. Serve with sour cream, green onions and a side of sliced oranges.

Additional Tips
A German Riesling would match well with the five-spice flavours.
