Harvested from the top of a 350-metre hill near the ocean, it spouts intensity and pungency, with grassy, gooseberry, herbal and ginger leading the charge. Rich yet zesty, with a very long finish. This one’s for rabid Sauv Blanc freaks.

Pleasing aromatic interplay between fruity malt and hoppy astringency. Strongly flavoured, slightly burnt character on the palate is suggestive of chocolate malt, with very dry, hoppy bitterness on the finish. Bold, assertive character will appeal to IPA enthusiasts.

Picaroons interpretation of a classic English Barley Wine. With rich aromas of fruit, malt and hops, this one is deceptively easy to drink, notwithstanding the 7.5% alcohol. It does creep up on you, though; as the mellow rounded rich flavours suffuse the palate. A deeply satisfying cold weather brew.

Quite reminiscent of wheat beer, with its blondish colour, light frothy head and citrusy, yeasty aromas. The similarity carries through on the palate with mild creamy texture, dried citrus fruit flavour and a touch of dryness.

Relatively mild aromas of lightly nutty malt with a subtle trace of hops. Opens up on the palate with rounded malt flavours and an agreeable touch of fruity sweetness. Smooth, creamy texture and excellent overall balance. Ideal for backyard bbqs.
